this is mady's version of "crawling." she has totally skipped the whole being on her hands and knees and instead scooches on her butt. we are pretty sure she will go straight from this to standing up and walking. she tries to stand up now. but as she holds onto the table she doesn't know yet to straighten her legs and they just slide underneath the table. she'll get as far as getting her butt off the ground and then her legs slide and she plops back on her bum. she tries so hard. wish you could see the determination on her face. she says a ton of words now. i am not sure if in any of these videos she says anything but i know the other videos i got that were too big to download she is saying "duck" and "fish." she also is saying "thank you," "mama," "dada," "please, "yes" and will shake her head no. and like any baby, she loves to babble and gab.

ok...that is hilarious...
but what is more hilarious is that in the 2nd video, when she is scooching, she stops and the chair is in the kitchen is in the background and you see the wall between the leg of the chair and the entrance to the living room, and I looked and it looked like you had 3 pig tails in her hair instead of just two and I had to double check...lol
that is the funniest thing ever. who ever heard of "scootching" rather than crawling?! i love it! she's such a doll...and so smart too!
mady's hilarious...if maigan ever decides to become mobile, i think she might be a scooter too...she WAY prefers sitting up to lying down and doesn't DO anything when she's lying down, front or back...we'll see...
