to try to remember what everyone got for christmas would be an impossible task mostly because i broke the tradition that after opening all the gifts i separate then into piles and take a pic. this year there was so much stuff, and a big mess, that i instantly wanted to try to get it cleaned up and under control. besides alot of the gifts were small and wouldn't be seen so great if i took a picture. i could tell you the main and best gifts. i got a car starter. tony got guitar hero world hero for xbox 360. it's so cool. it has a drum set and guitar. i play the drums. it's so addictive. there's also a mic so someone can sing. for a couple of songs, tony took a break from playing the guitar to try singing. he was so horrible and i was laughing so hard that i missed so many notes playing the drums that a failed out. mady got a kitchen set. kian got a crib bedding set that has planes on it. i wish i could remember more but nonetheless we all had a wonderful christmas and you hope you all did too!

more than one christmas

christmas will come two days this year for our family. i just got off work at 4am and woke tony up so we could stuff stockings and put together some presents. we are going to celebrate christmas today, christmas eve because tomorrow we will be going over to his mum's and having christmas with his sister and family and his mum and didn't want that to take away from our family christmas.. so whatever day you and your family will be celebrating christmas, from our family to ours...MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Christmas preparations, shopping, decorating inside of house, wrapping, planning, deciding, shopping, decorating outside of house, buying a real christmas tree for $40 then going to buy a stand for the real christmas tree and seeing a fake christmas tree for $263 that i absolutely love and had to have and bought that was on sale for $199 (so now we have two christmas trees and paid $240, which is less than buying the fake christmas tree if it wasn't on sale), setting up the fake christmas tree in the house and the real christmas tree outside, decorating the fake christmas tree. all that and we have more decorating and shopping and wrapping to do before christmas. this is why i have not blogged or checked blogs in awhile. all the while still having to work a full-time job, take care of two kids, clean the house, cook, do laundry, be a wife. and we actually had time to go for family pictures. it was fun and so easy cause we went to lady locally who does it. mady was cooperative cause she knew her and we weren't on some kind of schedule like at walmart where they rush you cause they have other appointments. the pictures turned out so good and we will finally send out an official christmas card. here's a sneak peek of our photo shoot. it was so hard to decide which ones to post to show you since all of them turned out so good.

Mady got this Barbie about a month ago. It's Barbie from Diamond Castle and she sings two songs. Well, by the 2nd day of Mady constantly playing the Barbie she knew all the words to both sings. She ran dead the batteries within 2.5 weeks and we just got them replaced and she was singing along today to the Barbie and I just had to get a video of it. She really played it up for the camera!!

we had so much fun trick-or-treating and mady was hilarious with her yelling trick or treat and when people handed her candy she would say, "i want two!" good thing she's cute and people understood that she's new at this! :) we thought it was pretty funny. tony's costume was a big hit and alot of little kids got blamed for farting at the doors when they were getting candy by the people handing it out. jen and his mum said it suited him and thought he was the biggest kid out there. i so love my husband for making this an unforgettable halloween and bringing so much fun and life to the night. he had as much fun as the kids and they really enjoyed him out there with them

this is all the snow we got yesterday starting at 4pm until 8am this morning. there's gotta be about 10-12 inches. and i had to drive through that last night coming home from syracuse. it took 2.5 hours instead of 2 hours. normally it takes 4 mins to get from grandma's to our house but last night with the weather it took 15 mins. i drove 25ml/hr home the roads were that bad. mady keeps telling me she loves the snow. luckily it's not too cold outside with all that snow. this is gonna make trick-or-treating an adventure!! :)

how fast they grow up.....

Kian has been doing some amazing things for some time now and it has taken me this long to either capture it on video or picture and post it for all of you to see. He has been rolling over, laughing, drinking from a sippie cup, sitting up, doing all the things that I want him to do then once he does I can't believe how fast he is growing. Mady sure does love her baby brother and tells everyone "Kian loves you." Mady sure is excited about Halloween. She's dressing up as Strawberry Shortcake. Kian is a farmer. I am a cow (I don't have a full costume, just a hat that has horns and a nose.) You all remember the nicknames that Kian and I got since he has been breastfeeding. I'm Jersey and he's famer. Well that's where we got the ideas for our costumes. Tony is a woopie cushion and has a fart box to carry around with him. We went to a haunted house on Friday night and dressed up and everytime a kid touched his head, he would "fart." they found it pretty funny. What a big kid my husband is!! When we go trick-or-treating, I'll be sure to get pictures of all us dressed up in our costumes.

The Best Invention Ever

This is called a podee. The money I spent on it has never been better used to buy anything for my children than this. It's a bottle that doesn't need to be held for your baby to drink and both Kian and I love it (as you can tell). It prevents propping his bottle when I don't have a spare hand. It's very helpful until they are at the age to hold their own bottle. I highly recommend it to anyone and hope someoene else can share in my extreme gladness with this product!!!

i was on the phone with krystin one day last week and kian was lying on the floor and mady was playing but what i didn't notice was mady put bracelets and necklaces on kian. once i saw and asked mady what she was doing she said "kian pretty, mama." later she tried to put her barettes in his hair but as you can tell they won't stay in peach fuzz!!! he better get used to it cause she'll probably want to play dress up, have tea parties, paint his nails and do a whole bunch of girly stuff with him as they grow up. and i am sure there will be plenty of times, he'll make her play gi joes or cops and robbers and all other kind of boy things. i don't think we'll have any troubles with these two growing up together. they seem to have so much for love for each other.

..................we got madisyn's ears pierced thurs. she sat on my lap when they did it and all she did was shrug her shoulders when they were pierced. they did them both at the same time. no cry, whine, whimper, peep, squeal, complaint. no words like ouch, stop, that hurt, no. she was such a good girl and she'll show everyone her earrings and say, "earrings pretty." she wants some just like mine, mine are airplanes. always when tony is gone she says, "daddy flying airplanes." she's so proud of her daddy and misses him so much.

All the bridesmaids wore these striped pantyhose under our dresses. You know how most photographers take a pix with all the girls showing their legs, well that was the purpose of the tights....Carrie didn't know we were wearing them until that pix. It was so funny.


Carrie bought all the bridesmaids flipflops so we would be comfortable at the reception instead of wearing our heels all night. When we were leaving I asked Tony to carry my heels but instead he put them on and walked all the way to our hotel room with them on...and everyone saw and just laughed!

All-in-all, we had so much fun and it's too bad that they couldn't get remarried just to do it all over again because of the good time we had!! I am sure they think different. :)

i want you to know that i did what i promised. i tried to post a blog of pix of the wedding i was in but the pix wouldn't download. i don't know why but it kept saying error on page. i'll try again after my weekend working. sorry to disappoint but i am so mad cause i tried so many times!! :(

when we saw this onesie we just couldn't resist. it says daddy's little wingman.


kian is now eating rice cereal, sometimes mixed with bananas or peaches. he's such a big boy and he loves it. also, he is sleeping 6-8 hrs a night at a time so mama and daddy get more sleep at night too! :)

all i really have interesting to say is kian goes for his 4 month check-up on the 8th and i am going to be a bridesmaid in a wedding on the 13th so soon i'll have pictures to post of that. oh and yesterday we were told that tony has to have a biopsy of a white patch in his mouth on the 9th. the oral surgeon says its probably nothing but better to be safe than sorry. he'll have 4-5 stitches on the side of his tongue and he'll be pretty sore for a couple days. he'll get time off work cause they don't want him doing anything that will aggravate the area so he can't talk much. it sure will be quiet around our house for those few days!! :) j/k. we just hope everything is ok and it's nothing serious.

even though i have been keeping track here at home i have neglected to update you on how our little boy is growing. he's now 13 weeks and 2 days (he turned 3 months yesterday). he weighs 12lbs 15ozs and i am unsure of how long he is. he sits up by himself in a bebepod chair. he smiles everytime you look at him. he loves his big sister. whenever she looks at him, talks to him, kisses him, touches him or anything a huge grin breaks out. he seems to always be smiling. he's such a happy and content baby. he spends the whole day with daddy and mady when mama is at work so he really loves his dada. and i wish you could hear him talk. he babbles with a purpose, like he's actually trying to tell you something. he drools alot too, like he's teething already kinda drool. even though we can't feel or see any teeth it's not totally impossible that he's cutting his first two front bottom teeth. he's just in the early stages of teething and i am hoping he will be just like mady and not be too bothered by the whole process. mady never cried, got cranky, just teeth would pop up. she's actually getting another molar right now. kian has two nicknames 1)farmer cause he milks the teets!! :) HAHA better than calling me cow, right?!?! someone at work who i told his nickname to decided to call me jersey as in jersey cow and i'm okay with that! and 2)ki-ki (pronounced "ke-ke"). ki-ki is the nickname that will probably stick. we'll drop farmer after he is done breastfeeding, i assume. only time will tell.
