Tony surprised me with a night away for our 4 year anniversary. We went to Ottawa on Wed night. We had dinner at Montana's and ate some delicious, fall off the bone ribs and hot wings. Ikea was in the same parking lot so naturally we had to go there. We got stuff mostly for the kids but did find the couch we want for our new house. We checked into the hotel. We saw Transformers:revenge of the fallen on IMAX. I knew that movie would be awesome, the first one is my favorite movie, but seeing it on IMAX was amazing. We got out of the theater and we had a flat...well we kinda knew before the movie but figured it could wait. Tony fixed it and we left by 11:45, it only took him 30 mins. You're a savior, hon. I Love You!! Anyways, then we wandered around the area near the hotel just walking and holding hands. We got a slush, went to a 24 hr grocery store. Since we were staying at the same hotel that his company uses for trips because of his discount, we ran into a captain and first officer from his company who were on an over night in Ottawa. We stayed and chatted with them for a while. By the time we got back into our hotel room it was past 2am. We then cuddled and snuggled...it's amazing how little room you have for ourself when you are used to sleeping in a king size bed with kids and dogs all around you. The bed in the hotel was a queen and for the first time in months my body was touching tony's as we slept!! :) We checked out at 10:45 and had to get the spare tire replaced. We went to breakfast while Speedy tire said it will be done in half an hour. 35 mins later we returned and they said even though their comp said they had 8 tires that we needed in stock they couldn't find any. We waited 10 more mins while they looked. We decided to go somewhere else. But before driving too far away, babies'r'us and toys'r'us was across the street. We shopped more for the kids and bought them pool toys. We went to Canadian Tire and they did have our tire and 40 mins later we left...with more than just a tire!! :) (Well we had to do something for that 40 mins while we waited!) We got another slush, smarties and ketchup chips and headed home. We picked up the kids at 4:30. We had a cook-out with some friends, swam in the pool, played rock band on xbox and finally went to bed by 10:30. Tony had to get up at 2am to leave for a trip. I just want to say Thank You to my husband of 4 years, the man I have loved for the past 7 years and my lifelong best friend!! I LOVE YOU, TONY!!!
