HAPPY 1 WEEK BIRTHDAY, KIAN!
&
HAPPY 23 MONTH BIRTHDAY, MADISYN!!!

now i will share some of the humor that happened during my delivery. i did not have my regular dr at my delivery cuz he is a military dr and certain times of the month he is away. so the dr doing the delivery is very traditional and old-fashioned so he highly believes in epiostomies, which i had with madisyn and felt that the recovery of that was worsE than the labor itself so i knew i did not want to be cut again. as it came time to push and i don't remember saying this but jen told me i did, i looked right at him and said "pushchin, you will not cut me!" apparently i didn't even say dr just his last name. jen thought that was pretty funny and guess what he listened, he didn't cut me. he thought at first i was gonna need 1-2 stitches from tearing but i didn't need anything after all. that made me so happy. i definitely felt the difference between being cut with mady and the burning of the stretching without being cut but i much prefered the burning.
once kian was out and the dr was delivering the placenta, he said it was separating so he had to get up inside me with tongs to get it out. it felt like he was up there to his shoulders and this i remember saying. i said, "good god, doc, are you looking for another baby." just the way he was fishing in there and scraping me. so we all thought that was pretty funny.
mon, with me being so sick, i was throwing up so much that my gown needed changed often and my pad needed changed. one time when i was being changed, i guess my friend, carrie, was visiting and she said that i looked over at her and asked her if i looked any skinnier. she just laughed and of course i don't remember asking her that.
so there you go. there's what happened that was funny during my delivery. if you didn't find it funny at all maybe you just had to be there!! :)

Funny when you told me on the phone, and still funny when I read it :)
I think it's funny that him, being a baby delivery dr. has a name that sounds like "pushin'"...since, you know, when you have a baby you are "pushin' to get it out...lol
Okay, maybe it's not as funny to you as me...lol
