we get to see the baby again...
i went for my weekly baby appointment today and the dr scheduled me for an ultrasound tomorrow. he says the roundness of my belly is supposed to be the same number as my gestational age (which is almost 39 weeks) and i am measuring a little smaller so he just wants to check to see how big the baby is. fine by us. insurance pays for it and gives us a chance to see the baby again. plus i am kinda curious myself how much the baby weighs. i am not at all upset that the baby is smaller than expected...better than being bigger!! :) we'll let you know how it goes. could be any day now.... we're getting pretty excited and just can't wait!! we just wanna see what our baby looks like...how much hair it has, what color the hair is, what color are its eyes, i just wanna hold it so bad and look into it eyes and hear it cry or make any sound at all, to see how long and big it is. i can't wait to see how much of a mess tony will be holding his first child and gazing down at it. it's making me all teary eyed thinking and writing about it but also at the same time puts a huge smile on my face anticipating it. ugh, i am going to miss being pregnant but please oh please let me go into labor soon!! :)

i forgot to mention 2 things: 1) tony finished his last trip last night until aug and 2) i have a horrible rask all over my stomach that the dr says he says occasionaly in pregnant women but not all the time but the point is it is driving me crazy. it is so itchy and when it itches, it looks like blisters. otherwise it is red and lumpy. just wanted you all to know how much agony i was in!! :)

i can't get anything right! tony is actually off work until sept 15th but he will probably go back to work beginning or middle of aug.
this is all sounding very exciting...i'm sure you will both be a mess when you hold your baby for the first time...i hear labor isn't especially easy ;)
