time to begin the countdown
from this minute exactly, kian will be 1 years old in a month or 30 days, whichever way you wanna look at it (he was born at 3:47am 5/5/08). i couldn't imagine the past 11 months without him but at the same time i can't believe it's already been 11 months. it's time for me to get serious about birthday party planning. you got any ideas for me, brittany!! :)

I'm not Brittany, but I liked my idea of a picnic in the park. We had a lot of fun.
i can't believe...seriously...that he's so big already! what the heck?! so...ideas:) i'm not really good at this stuff. so, my general rule of thumb is to avoid the typical (esp when they're little and can't choose a "bob the builder" or whatever themed party) and to pick something that represents your child. kaedy's 1st just had a simple theme of colors...the colors that her nursery was. super simple and easy to do. so....you do a list of things that represent your boy and i'll give you some ideas!!! deal?! it's the least i can do since i can't come:)
