then we went to grandmas for an easter egg hunt and dinner. between the 5 kids, there were over 150 easter eggs they had to find...outside. it was a sunny but windy day so it was cold. we are pretty sure we got them all. mady, auntie jennie, lily, mack, masen and me walked around for over an hour to make sure there were none left behind. for as cold as it was, i was surprised to see mady stay out so long. her hands were like ice when we got inside. i would have loved to gone in sooner but since she was having so much fun, i stuck it out longer for her!! we had an early dinner, we ate at 2:30 so basically by 4 our whole easter day was done. we stayed at grandma's til 5pm then came home. kian was on a sugar high and mady was tired right out. once kian's sugar high ran off, he ended up going to bed 1.5 hours early and mady napped til 7pm so she stayed up 1 hour past bedtime. and that was our easter. hope everyone's was as fun as ours!!
