HAPPY CANADA DAY!!
even though i have to work today, as a tribute to my country, i will be wearing my red scrubs and a canadian pin. most people at work know i am canadian so i won't have to do much explaining, which i really hate to do. repeating the same thing over and over cause it's different people who ask!
for independance day, we are going camping. we will leave either mon when i am done work at 3pm or leave tues and stay as late as we can on wed. we'll go swimming, have a campfire, roast marshmallows, have a bbq, go for a walk around the campsite, sleep in a tent..all the things i love about camping and being outdoors. i am so looking forward to it. we never had a chance to go camping once last summer. i just wish we would go for more nights considering all the work it takes to go. packing a cooler, setting a tent just to take it down the next day, packing & setting up a playpen just for one night, blowing up a queen size air mattress, packing the jeep, unpackinng the jeep when we get there, packing the jeep to leave, starting a fire. there is just so much prep work, esp when you have a baby. it will take me longer to prepare than we will actually be gone for but it will be worth it. this will be mady's first time camping, sleeping in a tent, swimming in a river, having a campfire. it should be so much fun.
