is it time yet?

i suppose it's time for me to post a new blog. before i start my day of cleaning and homework, i'll try to think of something to write so you all know that i am still alive and what's going on in the lives of tony and michelle denault. that baby is growing and doing good. he or she enjoys kicking mama.....alot!! i don't complain, it gives daddy more opportunities to feel the baby move and since he misses half the month of kicking cause he is away working, he needs all the chances he can get. we went to see the dr on fri so he could explain the ultrasounds and he says there is absolutely nothing to worry about. but they will keep monitoring the baby's kidney so that means at least one more ultrasound. my next ob appointment (17th) i am going to be doing the sugar test. i guess all it is is drinking some stuff then having some blood taken to check my blood sugar levels and see if i have gestational diabetes. the baby's room will probably be getting carpeted sometime this week and then we can finally finish it and set it all up. i can't wait. i'm going back home sometime in the week of april 8 to the 16th. i'm excited to see everyone again. i haven't seen anyone since our wedding and even if i didn't go back home, i would see my mum and lj cause they are coming to new york after our baby is born and my other sisters and family in aug in toronto but the point is, i want to see "home" and maybe a few friends as well. i haven't been back to edmonton since xmas '04, almost a year and a half. unfortunaly, tony won't be able to come back with me because of work and not being able to get enough days off during my break. so i want to schedule my trip when he has to work that week so that when i go, he won't be home all by himself but off working. he gets his april schedule on mon. we breeded rj last week. we never thought of breeding him, only teddy but we got a call last fri (3rd) from our vet saying that a woman called who is looking for a schnauzer to breed with her female. after talking to her on the phone, we became interested. so she came over fri night so the dogs could get acquainted and since this was both their first time it gave them some experience. nothing happened fri, sat or sun night. the dogs just played and got some practice. mon night they latched so she came back tues night and same thing. she waited a day in between and came back one last time on thurs and again they latched. i learned a lot about dogs and breeding them last week. for instance, i didn't know that females only come in heat every 6 months or that when the male finishes, he swells up inside her and they are stuck together for 20 minutes or longer. i felt sorry for their dog, she yelped all three times because it must have hurt her. if she is pregnant, dogs are only pregnant for 63 days but we'll know around april 3rd whether or not she got pregnant. and whatever the first pup sells for, we get for a studding fee (you know, for using our dog.) well, enough about my dogs sex life. i got an 88 on my last nursing test, that's only 6 questions wrong! i was pretty excited. we have another test on the 20th and i hope i do just as well. well, that's all i got to say. tata
